Who We Are

Pam Lorek

Owner of Lorek CPA

Pam is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of accounting and tax experience. Prior to opening her own firm in 1990, she worked for two local CPA firms in Southern California. In addition to her accounting experience, Pam was in the banking industry serving as the Quality Control Manager for First Interstate Bank. Pam is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program Member.

Practice Focus

Her tax preparation includes Individual, Partnership, Corporate and Fiduciary Returns. She is also experienced in Payroll, Property and Sales Tax Returns. In addition, Pam has extensive experience in Business Consulting to including accounting software selection, fraud detection, internal control procedures, budgeting, reconciliations, reviews, business start-ups, tax planning and general cleanup.  She has worked with many businesses and industries. She enjoys working closely with management and accounting staff to create a comfortable and efficient working environment. She is extremely accessible and enjoys a challenge.

Community and Involvement

Pam was the Vice President, Treasurer and a Founding Member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She was also the Fundraising Chair for the Friends of the Granite Bay Library. In addition, she was the Treasurer and four year board member for the Jesuit Boosters, Hospitality Chair for the Capital Crew Rowing Club and Treasurer of the Granite Bay National Charity League (NCL).

Who We Are

Jeff Lorek, CPA (Inactive)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Jeff brings excellent "hands on" experience to the firm and has worked in private accounting since 1996. He was most recently employed as Site Controller for one of the oldest international pharmaceutical companies in the world. Prior to his current employer, Jeff was CFO for Crystal Cream and Butter and Controller for Sacramento Coca-Cola. In addition to his accounting experience, Jeff also worked for PriceWaterhouse for six years as a tax manager.

Jeff has served as Trustee for a high wealth estate for over eight years. He has also been actively involved in the negotiation and successful completion of five business acquisitions.

Jeff enjoys cooking, traveling and being with his family. He and his wife Pam, of 30+ years have two children, and two beautiful grandchildren.

Community Involvement

Jeff is a member of the Knights of Columbus #13518 where he serves the council as their Treasurer. He has also served as the Hospitality chair for Capital Crew Rowing Club and was a four year board member for the Jesuit Boosters.
